Refund Policy

We have worked hard to create a product you will love. We realize the product you receive from Simtek may not be exactly what you expected. Should this take place, the original purchaser of the product may return all devices purchased in the original transaction, in their original condition, with the original receipt and packaging, within 30 days of the date of delivery to the original retail purchaser and Simtek will exchange it or provide a full refund of the original purchase price at Simtek Inc.’s discretion. We may first try to remedy the situation by repairing, replacing or otherwise making good on our goal of delivering exceptional products. This policy applies only to products you purchase directly from Simtek. A restocking fee and/or other fees may apply. If packaging is damaged or is missing items, there may be a nominal fee deducted. You are responsible for shipping the product back to us safely, and unfortunately we do not offer free returns like many bigger companies - but we hope to be as successful and offer that in the future. Refunds are made on a case by case basis, and returned to the original form of payment.

Subscription Data Plan Refund Policy 

No refunds on paid data plans. You may cancel your subscription data plan at any time, and there are no cancellations fees or contracts. Subscription data plans can be cancelled for the next billing date going forward. There are no refunds. Ensure you cancel before your next renewal date.

Cancel Subscription Data Plan

  1. In the Simtek mobile app, find "My Account" in the ⚙️ Gear menu.
  2. Tap the device(s) you want to cancel.
  3. Enter the email address used for the Simtek data plan. Hint: if you can't remember the email, search for a recent data plan invoice from Simtek.
  4. After you login to the customer portal, tap on Cancel. 
  5. Your plan will automatically cancel at the end of the billing period, and your sensor will automatically deactivate as well. 

This method is only applicable to the StealthALERT sensor. If your sensor is older than 2023, email help@simtek.io to cancel.
